The Process
Once you book your package, you'll receive a detailed design questionnaire that asks about your style preferences, functional needs, budget, and vision for the space. This is where you'll share inspiration photos, measurements, and photos of your current space. Think of it as giving me a detailed glimpse into your world before we even meet—so when we hop on our discovery call, I'm already thinking about your design.
This is where the magic starts. We'll spend an hour together on Zoom or by phone diving deep into your space, lifestyle, and goals. We'll discuss what's working (and what's not), explore your inspiration images together, talk through any layout challenges, and align on budget priorities. This conversation shapes everything that comes next—it's collaborative, conversational, and sets the foundation for a design you'll actually love living in.
This is my favorite part—where I disappear into my studio for 2-3 weeks and bring your vision to life. I'll create your custom concept board, design your floor plan with optimal furniture placement, and curate every single piece in your shopping list. I'm hunting for the perfect vintage finds, mixing high and low price points, and ensuring every element works together cohesively.

Absolutely! Virtual design means I can work with clients anywhere in the country. As long as you have good WiFi and can take photos of your space, we're good to go.
Perfect! I love working with existing pieces—especially vintage or sentimental items. Part of our discovery process involves understanding what you already own and love, and I'll design around those anchor pieces to create a cohesive look.
I work with all types of budgets and pride myself on mixing high and low price points to give you the best look for your investment. During our discovery session, we'll discuss your comfort level and priorities—maybe you want to splurge on that perfect vintage credenza but save on accessories, or invest in a quality sofa that'll last a decade.
That said, for a full room refresh, I generally recommend a minimum furnishings budget of $2,000-$3,000 to give us enough flexibility to create a cohesive, well-designed space. This doesn't include the design fee—this is just for the actual furniture, decor, and accessories we'll be selecting.
If your budget is more limited, a design consultation might be a better fit. We can focus on strategic updates and styling with what you already own, plus a few key new pieces to transform the space.
First, let me reassure you: we do a lot of work up front to make sure we're on the same page. Between the design questionnaire, our discovery session, and the mood board/inspiration gathering process, I invest significant time understanding your style, goals, and budget before I design anything. My goal is to create a space that feels authentically YOU, not just what I think looks good.
That said, design is a very personal and subjective thing—and I completely understand that what I envision might not always hit the mark on the first try. That's exactly why The Complete Design package includes one round of revisions. We'll talk through what's working, what's not, and why, and I'll refine the design until you're excited about it.
If we need additional revision rounds beyond the included one, they're available for $150/hour. But honestly? Most clients find that the combination of thorough discovery work plus one revision round gets them to a design they absolutely love.
The design consultation is a single 60-minute session with a follow-up email. The virtual design package takes 2-3 weeks from your discovery session to final delivery, with one revision round included.
That's what the 30-day implementation support is for! I'll check in with you as you shop and install, answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and provide styling guidance to ensure everything comes together beautifully.
